1) Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. RPG operates a private membership network for licensed real estate professionals. We collect only what we need to review applications, manage memberships, process payments, and communicate with members. The Site is used for membership applications, account access, and billing.

We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing.
We disclose information only to service providers who help us operate the Site and membership program, under contracts that limit their use to our instructions.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site or apply for membership.

2) Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Information you provide

Application & account data: name, email, phone, mailing address, brokerage/company, license number and issuing state, years of experience, production indicators, and answers to application questions.
Profile fields: display name and optional business details (e.g., specialties, market areas, links).
Communications: messages you send to us (support requests, surveys, testimonials, feedback).
Payment/billing details: provided to our payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Device & usage: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, timestamps, and basic performance/error diagnostics.
Cookies/identifiers: small files used to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. See our Cookie Policy for details.

2.3 Information from third parties

Verification services: limited lookups to confirm license status or professional standing.
Service providers: transactional data (e.g., payment success/failure, email delivery status) returned by vendors we use to provide the service.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as SSNs, government IDs, or precise geolocation). Please do not submit such data through the Site.

3) How We Use Information

We use information solely to operate and improve the membership program, including to:

Review and approve applications and create/manage member accounts.
Process payments and manage subscriptions (billing, receipts, renewals, cancellations).
Operate, secure, and improve the Site, including troubleshooting, analytics, and preventing fraud or misuse.
Communicate with you about your account, renewals, policy updates, and membership program information.
Comply with law and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We do not use personal information for unrelated purposes without notice and, if required, consent.

4) How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to provide the service:

Service providers (processors): payment processing (e.g., Stripe), website hosting, membership software, email and customer support tools, analytics, and security providers. They may access personal information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, member data may transfer to the successor under commitments consistent with this Policy.
Legal compliance and safety: when required by law or to protect rights, security, and integrity of our users and systems.

5) Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your session, keep you logged in, and understand Site performance. We may use privacy-focused analytics to evaluate aggregate usage trends. During checkout, our payment processor may set additional cookies strictly for secure transactions and fraud prevention.

Do Not Track: Industry standards for DNT signals are not uniform; we currently do not alter behavior in response to DNT, but you can use browser tools to manage tracking.

6) Marketing, Email, and SMS

Operational emails: We send emails related to membership (application updates, receipts, renewal notices, policy updates). These are not promotional and you cannot opt out while your membership is active.
News & announcements: You can unsubscribe from optional newsletters at any time via the link in those emails.
SMS (if enabled): We send texts only to members who opt in (e.g., application status or event reminders). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

We do not provide your email or phone number to third parties for their own marketing.

7) Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, including recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, and accounting:

Active members: while your account is active.
Canceled/declined: core account/application and billing records are typically retained for up to 3 years (or longer if required by law) and then deleted or de-identified.
Backups/logs: persist for limited, rolling periods.

8) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable hosting and payment providers. No system is perfectly secure; please protect your password and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

9) Your Choices & Rights

9.1 Access and updates

Log in to view or update profile details. You can also contact us at membership@referralprogroup.com to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to verification and applicable law. We aim to acknowledge verified requests within 2 business days and respond within 10 business days.

9.2 California privacy information

Depending on our size and activities, California privacy laws may or may not formally apply. Regardless, we honor reasonable requests:

Right to know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
Right to deletion of information we collected from you (subject to legal exceptions).
Right to correction of inaccurate information.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing: not applicable; we do not sell or share personal information.
Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

9.3 Nevada privacy information

We do not sell personal information as defined under Nevada law. Nevada residents may still submit “do not sell” requests to membership@referralprogroup.com; we will record your preference.

9.4 Email/SMS preferences

Use the unsubscribe link in emails or reply STOP to texts to opt out of optional communications.

10) International Visitors

The Site is intended for U.S. real estate professionals and is operated in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S. under U.S. law.

11) Children

Our services are for adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

12) Third-Party Links and Integrations

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies before interacting with third-party sites or tools.

13) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, technical, or operational reasons. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and may provide additional notice (e.g., email or prominent Site notice). Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
